William “Bill” DeDinas, age 78, of Marne passed away Saturday, April 24, 2021 at his home with family at his side. He was born in Grand Rapids, MI. to the late Edward and Zoie (Franzak) DeDinas. Bill loved spending time with his family especially his three grandsons, was an avid golfer and enjoyed spending time at his cottage on Diamond Lake. He was retired from the City of Grand Rapids where he worked as a Supervisor in the Streets and Sanitation Dept. Bill is survived by his wife of 52 years Barbara (Westgate) DeDinas; son, Kevin (Kimberley) DeDinas; daughter, Kimberly Taylor; grandsons, Kyle DeDinas, Kollin DeDinas and Justin Taylor; brothers, Edward (Pamela) DeDinas and Thomas (Denise) DeDinas; several nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:00 A.M. Saturday, May 1, 2021 at St Mary’s Catholic Church, 15164 Juniper St, Marne, 49435 with Fr Ayub Francis Nasar officiating. His family will receive visitors at church on Saturday from 9 – 10 A.M. one hour prior to the service. Please follow Covid social distancing and mask use practices, seating in church will be limited to 125 people. Burial will be in the St Mary’s Catholic Cemetery in Marne following the service.
