Vincent Brown

Vincent Adrian Brown, age 80, of Coopersville, was called home to his Lord unexpectedly Tuesday, Nov. 12, 2013. Adrian was preceded in death by his daughter Amy Kwiatkowski, grandson Mackenzie and foster child Rosalee Batzer. Adrian served his country in the US Army during the Korean War. He was an active member of St. Michaelé�a�a��s Catholic Parish in Coopersville since 1958 and was a member of the Knights of Columbus for 58yrs. He was retired from GM with 30 years of service where he worked at the Burlingame and Coopersville plants as a carpenter and was very active in many charities and organizations in the West Michigan area. He is survived by his wife of 56 years Judie; children, Chris (Kathy) Brown, Greg (Sally) Brown, Therese Brown, Andrea (Barry) Watson, Tony (Tonya) Brown, Penny (Jeff) Austin and Joel Brown; 27 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; 27 foster children including Darnell Green and George (Mary) Yannott and several foster grandchildren and great grandchildren; two sisters, Monica Zahm and Ann (Gerald) Wesolowski; two brothers, Nathan (Joyce) Brown and Allan (Nancy) Brown and many nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:00 am Monday, Nov 18th at St Michaelé�a�a��s Catholic Parish, 17150 88th Ave, Coopersville, with Fr. David Gross celebrant. Burial will be in St Michaelé�a�a��s Cemetery in Coopersville. Relatives and friends may meet the family Sunday 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm with Rosary Prayers Sunday evening at 7 pm at the Throop Funeral Home, 214 Church St, Coopersville and Monday one hour prior to the Mass at Church.
