Valentine Zoeller, aged 97, of Coopersville, passed away Thursday, March 5, 2020. Val was born in Einhausen Germany to the late Adam and Elizabeth (Meister) Zoeller. He was preceded in death by his first wife Kathryn Zoeller, second wife Sally Zoeller, and granddaughter Krystal Nezwek. Val was an avid pilot and enjoyed spending time flying in his plane. He was a partner with his father in the turkey farming business and in 1960 started Zoeller Insurance Agency in Coopersville. Val is survived by his children, Carol Tankersley, Don (Pat) Zoeller, Barb Mulder, Steve (Kelly) Zoeller, Diane Zoeller, Valerie Bremer; son and daughter-in-law, Chuck (Sharon) Hershberger; grandchildren, Kari (Steve) Snyder, Kevin Zoeller, Brian Feirick, Katie (Matthew) Stafford, Kyla Holmes, Alex Holmes, Ken (Megan) Hershberger, Amy (Brent) Sitzer, Patrick Hershberger, Dan Hershberger, Anna (John) Hattrem and many great grandchildren. Funeral service 11:00 am Wednesday, March 11, 2020 at the Throop Funeral Home, 214 Church St. Coopersville, with Rev. Robert Porterfield officiating. Burial in Coopersville-Polkton Twp. Cemetery.
