Tommy Ray Michael, age 75, of Muskegon, formally a long time resident of Coopersville, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his family and friends on Sunday, July 7, 2024. He was a man who loved his family, watching the Detroit Lions and cowboy movies, and most of all tinkering with his hobby car, a 1984 SS Monte Carlo. Tom retired from Sam’s where he met many lifelong friends. He was preceded in death by his parents Hattie Lee Michael and Clarence Obie Michael. He will be loved and missed by his sons, Tom (Sharon) Michael, Terry (J’Aime) Michael; grandchildren, Ethan Michael, Jack Michael, Kaci Michael; brothers and sisters, Shirley (Dave) Sexton, Dora Johnson, Ellen Duncan, Ruth Carpenter, Ricky Michael, Dale (Becky) Michael, Ron Michael. A special friend Darlene Pizarro and her children Erica (Jordan) Warren and Victor (Autumn) Pizarro. Caregiver Dawn Nessen and many nieces, nephews and friends. In keeping with his wish cremation has taken place. A life celebration service will be held Sunday, October 27, 2024 from 1:00 to 3:00 P.M. at the Coopersville VFW Post 5598, 511 68th Ave. Coopersville, MI 49404.
