Timothy Speck

Timothy Blaine Speck, age 68, passed away Wednesday, March 31, 2021. He was born in Grand Rapids, MI to the late Nelson and Eleanor (Chedister) Speck. In addition to his parents he is also preceded in death by his brother Aron Speck, father and mother-in-law John and Patricia Deederly. Tim’s passion was fishing in Michigan, Florida and Alaska. He was the go to guy that could fix anything and was always busy working on something. Tim had a great sense of humor and was a great brother and friend. He will be deeply missed by his wife and high school sweetheart of 48 years, Susan Speck (Deederly); children, Kevin (Brittany) Speck, Kyle (Breann) Speck; 4 grandchildren, Ellie and Oliver Speck and Coleman and Caden Speck; brother, Nelson (Jackie) Speck; sister-in-law, Pamela Ortega; brother-in-law, John (Kathy) Deederly; Chris (Keri) Kalish and their daughter Kennedy; several nieces and nephews. In keeping with his wish cremation has taken place. A celebration of life gathering will be held at a later date.
