Michalak Jesus reached down and tenderly took Timmy home to Mommas waiting arms.Beyond Heavens gates they were reunited and are destined to live in eternitytogether, never to be separated again. Timothy Scott Michalak was born on July 29, 1958 to Gertrude Yost and Stanley Michalak. He was the 14th child born to them. He was born with Downs syndrome. Timmy brought much joy into our lives. He was by all means an Angel sent from God. No one laughed like him, smiled like him, yelled like him, sang like him or loved like him. He was an extraordinary person. We are thankful everyday to our Lord for sending Timmy into our lives. Momma passed away in 1982 and Daddy died in 1988. Timmy was Daddys boy, but, he was his Mommas joy. If asked whose boy are you he would proudly answer, Daddys boy. In the last few years Tims health declined. He had become blind. Wednesday, from death Timmys eyes awoke to look onto the faces of our beloved parents. Now they aretogether forever. Tim graduated from Ottawa Area Center in 1984. He had many friends in school and was loved by the teachers. He won many blue ribbons at the Special Olympics. With his booming, HO HO HO he always played the part of Santa at home and at school. He enjoyed music and was a lover of old rock and roll. As a child the bigger kids would let us dance by standing on their feet. Then Timsfavorite song was Babysitting Boogie. Nowadays he loved, Do Ya Love Me? Whenever he heard his sister Debis voice he would yell out, Do Ya Love Me? He knew she would dance with him, no matter what. Timmy and I cared for each other after our parents death. We shared the family home, my children and grandchildren. We grew up together and we grew old together. Timmy is my best friend. I do not think he knew how wonderful a person he was. Because of Timmy we are better people and know that simple pleasures are the best of all. I will miss you and will count the days till we are together. I love you and I wonder how I will go to sleep without you tonight. Left here to grieve our loss and celebrate Timmys life is myself, Julie (Michalak) VanderWall; two special nieces, Kelli and Kerin VanderWall; four great-nephews, Lukas, Levi, Logan, and Kellahan; one great-niece, Kenni Dale, all from Allendale; loving friends, Michelle Mercer, Brandi, and Zack; longtime family friend, Wayne Bosch; brothers, Davey Michalak, Stevey and Betty Michalak, Joey and Sue Michalak; sisters, Lynda and Rog Modderman, Karen and naughty Bill Herrick, Suzy and Dave Balke, Kathy and Bob Smith and Debi Jacobs; a special nephew, Kenny Marlette, whom supplied Tim with all his newspapers and a yearly vacation at his cottage on the lake.
