Thomas Wyant Sr.

Thomas Irving Wyant Sr. age 74, of Allendale formerly of Coopersville, passed away Saturday, August 31, 2019 with family by his side. Tom was born in Muskegon MI to the late Michael Sr. and Barbara (Betts) Wyant. He worked as a radio broadcaster at many radio stations starting in 1965 at WMUS in Muskegon and retired in 2018 from WGVU Grand Valley Real Oldies. Tom loved his job as a broadcaster and was also a ham radio operator call sign KC8OJY. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sister Susan Wyant and brother Michael Wyant Jr. Tom is survived by his wife of 49 yrs. Ruth Ellen Wyant (Witkowski); children, Thomas Jr. (Janice) Wyant and Amy Wyant; 7 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; sisters, Barbara Wyant and Mary Mapes; in-laws, Elissa Simon, Mark Witkowski, John (Kris) Witkowski and Theodore Witkowski; many nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:00 AM Thursday, Sep. 5, 2019 at St. Luke University Parish, 10144 42nd Ave, Georgetown Twp. MI 49428 with Fr. Bill Vander Werff celebrant.
