Thomas Schoenborn

Thomas Lee Schoenborn (Uncle Tom / Dusty), age 80, passed away Tuesday, November 10, 2020. He was born in Conklin, MI to the late Peter and Leona (Lothschutz) Schoenborn. Tom was also preceded in death by his brother Emmett Schoenborn and sister and brother-in-law Mary Lou and John Speigl. He was a lifelong resident of Conklin, enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and was a proud lifelong Ottawa County hog and fruit farmer in partnership with his brother Bob. Tom is survived by his special friend of many years, Mary Musselman; son and grandchildren Douglas Schoenborn – David, Matthew and Jonathon; daughter Jean Schoenborn; son and grandchildren, Scot Schoenborn – Rylee and Dane; daughter, and grandchildren, Tracy (Edward) Vandenack – Eddy and Sam; sister, Donna Lozon; brothers, Bob (Pat) Schoenborn and Leon “Butch” (Rosemary) Schoenborn; sister, Kathy (Earl) Jones; sister-in-law Bonnie Schoenborn; several nieces and nephews. In keeping with his wish cremation has taken place. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 1:00 P.M. Monday, November 16, 2020 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Wright with Fr. Andrew Ayers officiating. Interment will follow after the funeral mass and take place in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Wright. Due to Covid restrictions seating will be limited at church and Masks and Social Distancing are required at the service.
