VanEngen Miss Suzanne VanEngen aged 95, of Coopersville was called home to her Lord and Saviour Tuesday July 13, 2010. She was born April 30, 1915 in Doon IA. to Henry and Geraldine (Koster) VanEngen. Sue moved to the Coopersville area in the late 1950's. She was a member of the Coopersville Christian Reformed Church, and worked for many years as a cook at the Beacon Light Nursing Home in Marne. She is survived by her sister Alice Goldhorn of IA, Geraldine VanDenBrink of Coopersville; brother-in-law Gerrit Oldenkamp of IA, special nephews and nieces Henry VanDenBrink, Jay VanDenBrink, Robert and Pam VanDenBrink, Julie and Joe Palma, Sandy and Dennis Cushway, Marlin VanDenBrink, Loren and Carla VanDenBrink, Randy and Coralee VanDenBrink. Funeral Services will be Friday 11:00 AM at the Coopersville Christian Reformed Church Rev Steve Bussis officiating. Burial in Coopersville Cemetery. Visitation at the Throop Funeral Home Thursday from 6 to 8 pm. Memorials may be made to the Coopersville Christian Reformed Church, 200 Henry St, Coopersville MI 49404.
