Susie Marie Reyers

Susie Marie (Moerman) Reyers, age 91, of Allendale formerly of Cedar Springs, passed away Thursday, Septemer 21, 2023 at her home with family at her side. Susie was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan to the late John and Johanna (Whip) Moerman. 

Susie is survived by her 6 children; John (Dixie) Reyers, Diana (Charles) Karasinski, Michael Jay Reyers, Bud Reyers and Phil Stein, Nancy Hart and Jerry (Jacinda) Reyers; grandchildren, Susan (Jeff) Randall, Jennifer (Kevin) Krebill, Michael John Reyers, Christy (Rick) Willison, John Welsheimer, David (Susie) Hart, Hannah Hart, Damian (Lindsay) Mahlich, Jarred Reyers and Morgan Reyers; 23 great grandchildren and several great great grandchildren. In addition to her parents Susie was also preceded in death by her grandson Robert Karasinski. 

Susie was a devoted mother and had a very close relationship with her 6 children who she loved deeply. She enjoyed spoiling her grandchildren and great grandchildren and was always sending out cards on birthdays and at Christmas time. She was a meticulous housekeeper and her home was always spotless, she loved spending time in her yard tending her flowers and enjoyed the companionship of her many dogs and even a cat or two. 

Funeral Services will be held Tuesday 1:00 P.M. at the Throop Funeral Home, 214 Church St, Coopersville, MI with Rev Joel Hoyer officiating. Burial will take place in the Coopersville-Polkton Twp. Cemetery next to her parents.
