Stacy Emelander

Stacy Lynn Emelander, age 53, gained her angel wings and passed through the gates of Heaven on Wednesday, March 23, 2022 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born in Marion, Indiana. She was preceded in death by her grandmother Fannie Rowland, father-in-law Robert Emelander and step father Lynn Draper. Stacy loved spending time with her children, listening to Kid Rock and attending concert. She enjoyed watching the birds, vacationing in Florida, being on the lake, doing crafts and spending time with her friends. She will be deeply missed by her loving husband of 28 years, Jeff Emelander; children, Jacob (Morgan) Emelander, Alexis Emelander, Dylan Emelander; mother, Sandra Draper; father, John (Virginia) Rowland; siblings, Melissa Schoemake, John Rowland; mother-in-law, Diane Emelander; sister-in-law, Jennifer (Dwayne) Knieper and several nieces and nephews. In keeping with her wish cremation has taken place. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated 11:00 A.M.  Saturday, April 2, 2022 at St Luke University Parish, 10144 42nd Ave, Georgetown Twp, MI 49428, with Fr. Bill VanderWerff celebrant. Relatives and friends may meet the family Saturday, April 2, 2022 from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at church. A Life Celebration service will also be held at a later date.
