Shirley Stroven

Shirley K. Stroven, age 92, passed away Sunday, September 12, 2021. She was born in Grand Haven, MI to the late John and Hazel (Reid) Vormittag. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband LaVerne Stroven. Shirley was an amazing pie maker, was the sewing 4-H leader and loved making quilts and other craft items. She enjoyed spending time wintering in Florida, traveling on bus trips through the U.S. from Maine to California and Europe. She will be deeply missed by her children, Gary (Eneka) Stroven, Janet Stroven, Pamela Stroven and Julie Stroven; grandchildren, Jonathan (Rebecca) Stroven and Nathan (Amber) Stroven; great grandchildren, Parker Stroven, Oliver Stroven, Ava Stroven; sister-in-law, Arloa DeGraaf.  A private graveside service will take place in Maplewood Cemetery with Rev.
