Sheila Renee (Link) Brown, 73, wife of Gary Brown, of Conklin, passed away peacefully on March 10. She was born on December 19, 1951, in Malden, Missouri. Married in 1972, Gary and Sheila soon moved to Michigan to begin their family. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and friend. Sheila is survived by her loving husband; her sons, Nate and Chad Brown; her daughter-in-law, Alex Brown; and her grandsons, Ethan and Dillon. She is also survived by siblings, Karen Randolph, Sandra Douglass Newman and Elvis Malcolm Link. She is preceded in death by her beloved son Justin Brown
Known for her selflessness, compassion, and unwavering love, Sheila devoted her life to her family. She was a caring and supportive wife, an attentive and nurturing mother, and a doting grandmother. Sheila also had a deep passion for giving back to her community and was an avid volunteer. Her time and efforts spent helping others reflected her kind-hearted nature and commitment to making the world a better place.
In addition to her dedication to her family and community, Sheila loved to play the piano, often filling her home with music that brought joy to all who heard it. She also cherished every opportunity to travel and create lasting memories with her family. Her gentle spirit, warm heart, and generous nature will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Sheila’s legacy of love, kindness, and service will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to be a part of her life. A funeral mass will be held in her honor at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, March 18th at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 18784 8th Ave. Conklin, MI 49403. Relative and friends may meet the family one hour prior to the service at church and join with the family after mass for a luncheon. There will also be a funeral mass at 10:00 A.M. Friday, March 21, 2025 at Christ the Savior Church in Brewer, MO, 55 Shady Ln, Perryville, MO 63775, for family and friends. Sheila’s family wishes to thank everyone for their love, support, and prayers during this difficult time.
