Ross Schoenborn

Ross Allyn Schoenborn, age 48, of Coopersville, passed away Tuesday evening December 22, 2020. He was born in Grand Rapids, MI. Ross enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and was always willing to help others. He enjoyed coaching his children on the Coopersville Recreation Leagues, playing softball, golfing, fishing, hunting, spending time at the family cabin in White Cloud, watching University of Michigan college sports, spending time with his two dogs Baylor and Jeter and was a member of the Coopersville Sportsman’s Club. Ross will be loved and missed by his wife of 22 years, Traci (Zimmer) Schoenborn; daughter, Ryleigh Schoenborn; son, Bryce Schoenborn; father and mother, Stan and Liz Schoenborn; brothers, Dan Schoenborn and Jerod Schoenborn; sister-in-law, Dominique Schoenborn; nephews, Charlie, Jeremy, Hudson and Jaxon Schoenborn; mother-in-law, Brenda Zimmer; sister-in-law, Jamie Zimmer and Mike VanderZanden and many friends. Ross was preceded in death by his father-in-law Alvin Zimmer. In keeping with Ross’s wish cremation has taken place. Due to Covid restrictions Masks and Social Distancing are required at the visitation and funeral. Relatives and friends may greet the family 9:30 to 11:00 AM Wednesday, Dec. 30, 2020 at St Mary’s Catholic Church, 15164 Juniper St, Marne, MI 49435. Following the visitation at 11:00 AM a Private Family Mass of Christian Burial with limited seating will take place at Church with Fr Ayub Francis Nasar celebrant. After the service interment will take place in St Mary’s Cemetery in Marne. Donations in Ross’s memory may be made to his children Ryleigh and Bryce’s education fund at any Choice One Bank.
