Rosemary (Homrich) Helzer

Rosemary (Homrich) Helzer, age 89, was called home to her Lord and Saviour Monday, January 13, 2025. She was born in Marne, MI to the late Paul and Christina (Budinger) Homrich. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Edward Helzer. Rosemary strived in serving the Lord. After high school Rosemanry became a member of School Sister of Notre Dame where she served faithfully for over 30 years. she had a passion for sewing and taking care of others. In her spare time, she enjoyed the outdoors and working in the garden on the farm where she was born. She will be deeply missed by her sister, Helen (Leo) Byrne; nieces and nephews, Bill Byrne, Amy Koets, Jerry (Adele) Byrne and lifelong friend Pam Brinks. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:00 A.M. Friday, January 17, 2025 at Saint Ann’s Home, 2161 Leonard St NW, Grand Rapids, MI 49504 with Fr. Ayub Francis Nasar celebrant. Burial will take place in St. Michaels Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Saint Ann’s Home, 2161 Leonard St NW, Grand Rapids, MI 49504.
