Rosemary Holtzlander

Rosemary é�a�A"Roseé�a�� Holtzlander, age 76, of Coopersville formerly of Grand Rapids, passed away Tuesday, December 16, 2014. She was preceded in death by her parents Scott and Sylvia Rupp, brother, Dilbert and her sister, Barb. Also preceding her in death were her sister-in-laws Donna, Maybelle, Eileen, Ellen and Murtie and two brother-in-laws Harry and Charles é�a�A"Punké�a��. Rose worked for 38 years as a phone operator in Grand Rapids, starting out with Bell telephone and retiring from ATT. She loved to spend time with family and friends especially her grandchildren as well as their friends who all knew her as Grama Rose. She enjoyed playing board games and sequence with her grandchildren, meeting with her girlfriends to enjoy a weekly game of cards, reading and enjoyed taking trips throughout the US and overseas with a group of close friends. She will be deeply missed by her daughter and son-in-law Kathy and Jerry Mead; grandchildren, Jerry Jr. (Amber) Mead, Justin (Monti) Mead and Jenna Mead; great grandchildren McKenzleigh, Dylan and Dustyn; brother-in-laws and sister-in-laws, Howard (Sharon) Ramsey, Ralph (Marva) Ramsey, Sandy (Joe) Bott, Cless (Pat) Ramsey, Yvonne Cornell, Debra (Ed) Cook, Rick (Bonnie) Koehn, Rhonda Ramsey and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Saturday 12 noon at the Throop Funeral Home, 214 Church St, Coopersville, with burial in Coopersville Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family 6 to 8 pm Friday and 11 to 12 noon Saturday at the funeral home in Coopersville. Memorial donations may be made to VFW Post 5598, P.O.
