Roger Westveld

Westveld Mr Roger A. Westveld aged 67, of Coopersville was called home to his Lord and Saviour Tuesday April 13, 2010. He was born Sept 27, 1942 in Lamont MI to Peter and Alice (Modderman) Westveld who preceded him in death. Roger owned and operated R.A. Westveld Concrete Construction since 1965. He was an active member of the Lamont Community Church. Roger is survived by his wife of 43 years Carol; four children Tim (Brenda) Westveld, Marcy DePender, Carmen (Monte) Langlois, and Randy (Abby) Westveld; twelve grandchildren Brandy, Meaghan, Emilee, Erynn, Allysha, Chloe, Matthew, Eric, Kyle, Nathan, Jessica, and Lindsey; three brothers Don Westveld, Vern (Gloria) Westveld, and Marv Westveld; mother-in-law Ruth Wilczak; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services Monday 11:00 AM at the Coopersville Reformed Church, 423 W. Randall St. With his pastor Rev Richard Terpstra officiating. Burial in Maplewood Cemetery, Lamont. Visitation Sunday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM at the Throop Funeral Home, 214 Church St, Coopersville. In lieu of flowers memorials to Lamont Community Church, Lamont Christian School or Hospice of N.
