Roger Nanninga

Nanninga - Mr Roger L. Nanninga aged 77, of Coopersville, was called peacefully home to his Lord Sat. April 10, 2010 surrounded by his family. He was born Oct 15, 1932 in Grand Rapids MI to Nicholas and Dorothy (Herrema) Nanninga. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Joan Essenburg. Roger is survived by his wife of 57 yrs Velma; children Diana Nanninga, Dan (Kelly) Nanninga, and Don (Sue) Nanninga; seven grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; brother Norm (Rena) Nanninga; sister Joyce (Clare) DePender; brother-in-laws Simon Essenburg and Gene (Mary) DeVos; sister-in-laws Iola Zoodsma and Joyce (Len) Zokoe; and many nieces and nephews. In keeping with Rogers wish cremation has taken place with interment in Rosedale Cemetery. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday April 17, 2010 at Lamont Community Church, 14000 48th Ave, Coopersville. Rev Richard Terpstra officiating.
