Robert Sheridan

Robert “Bob” D. Sheridan, age 95, of Allendale, was called home to his Lord and Savior and
reunited with Loved Ones on Friday, March 24, 2023. He was born in Allendale Twp. to the late
John and Edna (Reister) Sheridan. Bob was preceded in death by his wife Betty E. (Barding)
Sheridan, daughter Terri Dietrich, grandsons Matthew and Daniel Beyerlein and brother Donald
Sheridan. Bob is survived by his children, Kathi and Don Alderink, Mark and Ruth Beyerlein,
Jeff and Jane Sheridan, Kristi and Jim Hansen and John and Barb Sheridan; 17 Grandchildren;
36 Great Grandchildren; 1 Great,Great Granddaughter; sisters Donna Laug and Shirley and Earl
Ralya; and many family members. Robert served in the Merchant Marines and U.S. Army during
W.W. II. He was a lifetime member of St John Lutheran Church and was the first rural mail
carrier in the Allendale Post Office retiring in 1988. Bob and Betty spent all of their retirement
years making many friends as they traveled all across the country. A Celebration of Life
Memorial Service will be held Friday, April 14, with Visitation at 1:00 pm and Service at 2:00
pm at St John Lutheran Church, 9628 48th Ave, Jenison, MI 49428 A private family interment
will take place alongside his wife Betty at Allendale Twp. Cemetery. Memorial Donations may
