Robert Langeland

Robert Wayne Langeland, age 69, passed away unexpectedly Monday morning, October 14, 2019. Robert was born in Zeeland, MI to the late Robert J. and June (Molenkamp) Langeland. He was retired from Al Van Trucking in Grand Rapids. Bob enjoyed spending time up north at his farm where he enjoyed hunting and fishing and spending time with family and friends. He was always on the lookout for a good deal and had a great sense of humor. Bob is survived by his wife of 50 yrs., Sharon (Peterson) Langeland; sons, Robert M. (Candice) Langeland and Eric (Kristine) Langeland; grandsons, Michael (Makala) Langeland and Travis Langeland; great grandson, Micah Langeland; sister, Vicky (Ron) Veldhuis; sister-in-law, Becky Gaunt; brothers-in-law, Gary (Ellie) Peterson and Greg (Amy) Peterson; several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents Bob was also preceded in death by his brother-in-law Mark Gaunt. Cremation has taken place a Life Celebration Memorial Service will be held 11:00 A.M., Thursday, Oct. 17, 2019 at the Throop Funeral Home, 214 Church St, Coopersville, MI 49404. The family will greet relatives and friends Thursday 10 – 11 am one hour prior to the service.
