Robert Hawthorne

Hawthorne Mr Robert A. Hawthorne aged 91 of Coopersville passed away peacefully at Brookcrest Nursing Home Monday Jan 10, 2011. Robert was born June 17, 1919 in Grand Rapids, MI. to Frederick and Mary (Ailward) Hawthorne. He was a member of Wright SDA Church, served in the U.S. Army during WW II, and was retired from Leigh Products where he worked for 30 years. Robert was preceded in death by his wife Louise and two sons Kenneth and Roger. Surviving are his daughter-in-law Karen Hawthorne; granddaughters Michelle Hawthorne, and Sherri (Wayne) Lawrence; and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations in Roberté�a�a��s memory be made to Wright SDA Church c/o Karen Hawthorne, 5957 8th Ave., Apt C., Grandville, MI 49418.
