Robert Emelander

Robert C. Emelander, age 66, of Allendale, passed away at his home with his wife and family at his side on Tuesday, April 9, 2013. Robert was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He especially enjoyed his grandchildren and loved to spoil them. He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing and spending time with his family and friends. He will be deeply missed by his wife of 42 years Diane; son Jeff and Stacy Emelander; daughter Jennifer and Dwayne Knieper; grandchildren Jacob, Lexie, Dylan, Tylee and Chloe; brother Roger (Deb) Emelander; sisters Bonnie (Phil) Rhoby and Sandra (Jim) Roberts; mother-in-law Doris Weber; sister-in-laws Arlene (Randy) Brakeman, Linda (Bob) Seroke and many nieces and nephews. According to Roberts wish cremation has taken place. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:00 am Saturday at St. Michaelé�a�a��s Catholic Church, 17150 88th Ave, Coopersville, 49404. Fr. David Gross Celebrant. Relatives and friends may meet the family Friday from 5 to 8 pm at St Michaelé�a�a��s Catholic Church in Coopersville and Saturday one hour prior to the mass at church.
