Raymond Zimmer

Mr Raymond F. Zimmer Sr., aged 86, of Coopersville, passed away Saturday, Sept. 15, 2012. He was born June 11, 1926 in Wright Twp. MI. to Nicholas and Eva Zimmer, who preceded him in death. Ray served his country in the U.S. Marine Corp., He and Delores spent the last 30 winters in Fl. enjoying fishing, shuffleboard, bingo, and sunshine and is a life long resident of Wright Twp. He was also preceded in death by his grandson Craig Looman in 2008. He is survived by his wife, Delores Zimmer; children, Shari Kovalak, Carol Lockery, Karen Wraight, Kimberly (Dale) Betz, Kathy Langeland, Kris (Gerry) Nubecker, Raymond Jr. é�a�A"Butché�a�� (Suzi) Zimmer; 20 grandchildren; many great grandchildren; brother-in-law; Rolly Haubrich; sister-in-laws; Larissa Zimmer, Norlene Vander Schuur, Kay Jekel, Nancy (Larry) Koster and several nieces and nephews. In keeping with Rayé�a�a��s wish cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held Thursday 11 am at the Throop Funeral Home, 214 Church St, Coopersville. Interment will be in Coopersville Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family Wed at the Throop Funeral Home from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Memorial donations may be made to.
