Ragnar Swanson

Ragnar W. é�a�A"Putté�a�� Swanson, age 73, of Coopersville, passed away Thursday Feb, 13, 2014. He was born in Stevenson MI to Ragnar F. and Eva (Tyrell) Swanson who preceded him in death. Putt moved to Coopersville at a very young age attended Coopersville Schools and graduated from Coopersville High School. He was employed as a Journeyman in the tool and die industry and worked in Grand Rapids for many years. He is survived by his wife of 42 years Penny; daughter and son-in-law, Ronda and Ryan Lemmen; grandchildren, Ryan, Hailey, Alex, Sydney, Dominic, Marcus, Keenan and Jaxon; brothers Alvin Swanson, Edwin (Connie) Swanson and August (Donna) Swanson; sister-in-laws, Debbie (Cliff) Tubbs and Alice Brownlee and Greg Stepke; brother-in-law Ronnie Brownlee and many nieces and nephews. Ragnar was also preceded in death by an infant sister Jean Swanson, sister-in-law Roxanne Brownlee and his father-in-law and mother-in-law Ernest and Lucille Brownlee. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, 11 am at the Throop Funeral Home in Coopersville with Rev Ellen Denny officiating. Burial will be in the Coopersville-Polkton Twp. Cemetery.
