Paul Jay Beemer

Paul Jay Beemer, age 69, of Grand Rapids, passed away Monday, May 1, 2023. He was born in Grand Rapids, MI to the late Verne Jr. and Dorothy (VanderLaan) Beemer. Paul enjoyed spending time with family and friends, working in his garden and was a very gifted wood worker. He will be deeply missed by his significant other Rebecca Jauw; children, Karen (Jason) Robinson, Kathy (John) Smith, Robert “Bob” (Jenny) Beemer; Rebecca’s children; Peter (Sandra) Jauw, David (Mary) Jauw, Joshua Jauw; 12 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; siblings, Erwin (Marilyn) Beemer, Bonnie (William) Phebus, Janet (Jason) Koster and many nieces and nephews. In keeping with his wish cremation has taken place. A life celebration service will be held 12:00 P.M Saturday, May 20, 2023 at the Marne United Methodist Church with Rev. Tommy Boutell officiating.
