Patricia Degeus

June 24, 1929 — November 14, 2017

Patricia Louise DeGeus, age 88, of Coopersville, MI., entered into eternal rest on November 14, 2017 while residing in Yorkshire Manor, Walker, MI. Born on June 24th 1929 to Orville and Lena Webb, she grew up on a farm in Eaton Rapids, MI, the youngest of four siblings all of whom predeceased her.  Patricia was married to Robert DeGeus for 63 years until his passing in 2011. They lived happily raising their family in Coopersville, MI for most of those years. Her Christian faith helped her through many difficult times in her life. It also provided great joy as she was able to share her talent as a pianist at the United Methodist Church in Coopersville. After many years as a homemaker, Patricia entered the workforce, and she felt her greatest accomplishment other than her family was working as the Church secretary for Reverend’s Vern Michaels and Dave Flagel. Patricia leaves behind to cherish her memory her four children Peggy Elefteriades (John), Robert DeGeus II (Reenie), Tim DeGeus, and Kerry Kragt (Jeff). She was especially proud of her 11 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Patricia was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother and she will be greatly missed. Funeral services will be held on Saturday November 18th, 2017 at the Marne United Methodist Church at 11 am. Viewing will begin at 10 am. A reception in the Church hall will follow. Burial will be at Coopersville Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Marne Unite Methodist Church or Spectrum Hospice. An online guestbook may be signed at www.throopfh.com
