Nancy Ann (Tody) Hayes

Nancy Ann Hayes, of Coopersville, was welcomed into the arms of Jesus on Monday, August 14, 2023, at the age of 69. She was born on October 26, 1953, in Lansing, MI to Wayne and Evelyn Tody. She was preceded in death by her mother, Evelyn Tody; her father, Dr. Wayne Tody; her sister, Sharon Tody; and her brother, Dr. Douglas Tody. Nancy was a loving mother, grandmother, aunt, sister, and daughter. She was an integral part of her Women’s Bible Study with her closest friends, who greatly valued her presence. She enjoyed playing Bingo with friends, knitting, crocheting, and blessing people with her creations. Nancy loved giving gifts, especially to her kids and grandkids. She always had an array of candy accompanying her gifts for every holiday. Nancy will be deeply missed by her children Alison (Ray) Gillhespy, Steve (Jayme) Hayes, and Christine (Brian) Zahm; by her grandchildren Logan, Jordan, Dylan, Natalie, Patrick, Shane, Charlotte, Ava, Owen, and Bryce; by her sisters Jeanne Beroza and Carolyn Tody; by her stepmother Darla Tody; and by several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. The family welcomes you to join them for a celebration of life remembering Nancy on what would have been her 70th birthday, on Thursday, October 26, 2023, from 5PM-8PM, at All Shores Wesleyan Church - Coopersville Campus.
