Monica Cecelia (Brown) Zahm

Monica Cecelia Zahm, age 86, of Coopersville, passed away Sunday, May 21, 2023. She was born in Grand Rapids, MI to Lawrence and Betty (Root) Brown. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by husband Donald Zahm; siblings, Adrian Brown, Nathan Brown. Allen Brown; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Lester and Betty Zahm; daughter-in-law, Cheri Zahm and step grandson, Nicholas Meisen. Monica enjoyed spending time with family and friends, was active in the Coopersville Old Kids group for many years and was a member at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Marne, MI. She will be deeply missed by her children, Phillip Zahm, Rosalyn Zahm, Rick (Tari) Zahm, Larry (Sharon) Zahm, Ken (Barb) Zahm, Herb (Christine) Zahm; grandchildren, Matthew (Ellymae) Corcoran, Jeff (Rita) Corcoran, Zach Corcoran, Rob Zahm, Joe Zahm, Michelle Zahm, Sarah (Michael) DeClark, Trevor Zahm, Eliza Zahm, Hanna Zahm, Liam Zahm, Claire Zahm, Jessica Zahm, Kathleen Zahm; sister, Ann (Gerald) Wesolowski; sisters-in-law, Judie Brown, Joyce Brown, Nancy Brown, several great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews. A Funeral Mass will be held 11:00 A.M. Thursday, May 25, 2023 at St Mary’s Catholic Church, 15164 Juniper Dr.  Marne, MI 49435 with Fr. Michael Hodges officiating. Burial will take place in St. Mary’s cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family Wednesday, May 24, 2023 from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the Throop Funeral Home, 214 Church St. Coopersville, MI 49404. Rosary will be prayed at 8:00 P.M.
