Miles Norton

Miles "Dan" Norton, age 68, of Holland formerly of Coopersville passed away Friday September 11, 2015 after a short battle with cancer. He was born in Muskegon, MI. to the late Miles and Irene (Showers) Norton. Dan worked at the Coopersville Hardware for over 15 years, after his retirement he moved to the Holland area and took a part time job with Dean Transportation as a special needs bus driver. He is survived by his wife of 25 years Kathy; children, Scott (Ann) Norton, Stacey (Eric) Rea, Amy (Steve) Geren, Jason (Liz) Schultz and Jessica (Matt) Kuipers; 10 grandchildren; sister Suzanne Lanoue; brothers-in-law Stan Gillespie, Alan (Faythe) Gillespie, Bob (Theresa) Gillespie and many nieces and nephews. In keeping with Dané�a�a��s wish cremation has taken place. A life celebration service will be held 11 am Tuesday, at the Conklin Reformed Church, 3769 Sehler St, Conklin, MI 49403 with Rev Rick Christy officiating. Interment will take place in the Ravenna Twp. Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family 6 to 8 pm Monday evening at the Throop Funeral Home, 214 Church St, Coopersville, MI 49404 and Tuesday one hour prior to the service at the church in Conklin.
