Mildred Stroven

November 11, 1933 — August 26, 2020

Mildred Ann Stroven, age 86, was called home to her Lord Wednesday, August 26, 2020. Millie was born in Byron Center, MI to the late Rhine and Anna (DeBack) Hondred. She was a longtime member of Coopersville Reformed Church and enjoyed working with her husband Melvin on the farm in Coopersville. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Stroven in 1984, sister-in-law, Marilyn “Aunt” Stroven and brother Raymond Hondred. Mildred is survived by her children, Martha (Ed) Vugteveen, Mark Stroven, Marty Stroven; grandchildren, Emily Lengkeek, Melissa (Doug) Beyer, Andrew Vugteveen; sister-in-law, Janet Hondred; nephew, David (Susan) Hondred; nieces, Linda (Jeff) Horstman, Judy (Gary) Veldink and Karen (Bill) Keuning. Funeral Services will be held 1:00 pm. Saturday, August 29, 2020 at the Coopersville Reformed Church Activity Center with Rev. Arnold Van Beek officiating. Burial in the Coopersville-Polkton Twp. Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family Saturday one hour prior to the services at church. Memorial donations may be made to Fountain View Assisted Living – Coopersville, 640 W Randall St, Coopersville, MI 49404. Condolences may be left on her Tribute Wall at www.throopfh.com
