Paris Mr. Michael Gilbert Paris, aged 59, of Coopersville, went to be with his Lord on Monday, Nov. 23, 2009. He is survived by his loving wife, Joann Paris; three children, Michele (Matthew) DeYoung of Grand Haven, Matthew Paris of Paw Paw, and Ryan (Gretchen) Paris of Portage; his parents, Don and Gladys Wohlford of Coopersville; eight grandchildren; brothers Dennis Paris, and Dale (Tina) Wohlford; sister Debbie (Dale) Bouwkamp. Michael was born on June 27, 1950, in Grand Haven, to Chester and Gladys (Beld) Paris. He worked at several area factories, including General Motors/Delphi, and also served as a customer service representative at Betten Baker Chevrolet. Michael was an avid sports fan, always cheering for the Michigan State Spartans and the Coopersville Broncos. He loved his family dearly and cherished spending time with his grandchildren, who knew him affectionately as é�a�A"Grandpa Mike.é�a�� A member St. Johné�a�a��s Lutheran Church in Grand Haven, he was also an active member at Sandy Pines. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to the St. Johné�a�a��s Lutheran Church School in Grand Haven and the Coopersville High School athletic program. The funeral service for Michael will be held on Saturday at 11 a.m. at St. Johné�a�a��s Lutheran Church of Grand Haven, with the Rev. Dieter Haupt officiating.
