Michael Karbon

Michael Scott Karbon, age 64, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, November 20, 2022. He was born in Allen Park, MI. Michael worked for Farmers Insurance as a mail service supervisor. He loved the town of Coopersville where he was very active with the Rec. department where he coached and refereed sports. He enjoyed spending time with his wife, children and his grandchildren who knew him as “Bumpa.” He will be deeply missed by his wife Janis (Rykse) Karbon; children, Ryan (Abby) Karbon, Jessica (Randy) Mosson, Kevin (Chelsea) Karbon; grandchildren, Asher Karbon, Ellie Karbon, Grace Karbon, Aubrey Mosson, Liam Karbon, Ezra Karbon; mother and father Herman (Betty) Karbon; siblings, Jim (Patsy) Karbon, Tom (Diane) Karbon; brother-in-law, Gary (Sue) Rykse; sister-in-law, Jill Price; several nieces and nephews; friends that are like family, Matt McKinnon, Dave Alderink, Shawn (Tami) Sytsma and Pat Wendt. In keeping with his wish cremation has taken place. Celebration of life will be held 6:00 P.M. on Thursday, December 1, 2022 at the Coopersville Community Center, 182 East St. Coopersville, MI 49404 with Rev. Dave Boomgaard officiating. Relatives and friends may meet the family Thursday, December 1, 2022 from 3:00 to 6:00 P.M at the Coopersville Community Center. Memorial donations may be made to the Coopersville Rec.
