Mary Teachout

Mary E. Teachout, age 90, of Coopersville passed away Sunday, December 13, 2020, at her home and rests now with her husband John. Mary was born in Coopersville, MI., to the late Walter and Hazel (Starks) O’Brien. She was a graduate of Coopersville High School Class of 1948 and was employed for many years at Leigh Products in Coopersville. Mary was preceded in death by her husband John E. Teachout on June 3, 2000. She is survived by her daughter Nancy (Bill) Gilbert; loving grandchildren, Steve (Jenifer) Shook, Patrick (Jill) Sheldon, and Becca (Mike) Martinie; great-grandchildren, Devon, Autumn, Carter, Allison, Jase, and Cassidy. The family would like to thank the wonderful women who so compassionately helped care for their grandmother Mary. In accordance with Mary’s wishes cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation or services. Interment will be in the Lakeshore Cemetery in Grand Haven Twp. Memorial donations in Mary’s memory may be made to Agewell Services Meals on Wheels, 275 W.
