Mary Snider

Mrs Mary Jane Snider, age 89, of Jenison formerly of Marne, passed away at her home peacefully with family at her side. She was preceded in death by her parents, Russell and Gertrude (Hawley) Stryker, son, David Wheeler and brothers Charles, James and Richard Stryker. Mary was retired from Kent County where she worked for the Kent Co. Probate Courts for 12 years, prior to that she worked at Wyoming Municipal Court for 10 years. She enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, traveling to the Lake Michigan shore to watch the sunsets and gardening. She always had a smile for everyone she met and could be counted on to lend a hand to family and friends. Mary will be deeply missed by her husband of 41 years Leslie é�a�A"Lesé�a�� Snider; children, Linda (John) Kilgore, Scott Wheeler, Mark Wheeler, Steven (Kathy) Snider, Sherry (Tom) Kuyt, Clifford (Eva) Snider and Susan (Phil) Blum; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Marilyn (Robert) Lemke; brother-in-law, Ken Snider and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Monday 11:00 A. M. at the Marne United Methodist Church, 14861 Washington St, Marne, MI 49435. Burial will be in the Marne Cemetery. The family will receive visitors Sunday afternoon from 3 to 5 pm at the Throop Funeral Home, 214 Church St, Coopersville, MI 49404 and Monday one hour prior to the service at Church.
