Mary Louise Meerman

Mary Louise Meerman, age 96, of Conklin was called home to her Lord and Saviour Saturday, February 17, 2024. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Clara (Doane) Rhodes; husband, James P. Meerman in 2016; sons, David and Jeffery Meerman; son-in-law, Aaron Bouchard and great grandson Dakota Noel. Mary’s greatest love was her husband, children and grandchildren. She enjoyed cooking, taking care of her flowers and saw the good in everyone. Her faith in the Lord Jesus was an important part of her life. She will be deeply missed by her children, Susan Balcom, Gary (Jane) Meerman, Christy (Randy) VanAelst, Melissa Bouchard; daughter-in-law, Jo Ellen Meerman; 13 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; 1 great-great granddaughter; brother and sister-in-law, Earl (MaryAnn) Meerman and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 1:00 P.M. Thursday, February 22, 2024 at Church of the Saviour, 180 68th Ave N, Coopersville, MI 49404, with Pastor Don Van Slyke officiating. Burial will take place in McNitt Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family Wednesday, February 21, 2024 from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M. at the Throop Funeral Home, 214 Church St. Coopersville, MI 49404 and one hour prior to the service at church.
