Mary Depender

Mrs Mary DePender aged 97 of Coopersville was called home to her Lord and Saviour Tuesday March 22, 2011. Mary was born January 12, 1914 to the late Jake and Cora (Roskamp) Modderman in Eastmanville MI. Her husband Peter DePender preceded her in death on April 19, 1996. Mary is survived by her sons Clarence (Joyce) DePender of Coopersville, Leonard (Linda) DePender of Spring Lake; five grandsons Larry (Karen) DePender, Lance (Linda) DePender, Doug DePender, Dennis (Doreen) DePender, and Derek DePender; 11 great grandchildren; brother Robert (Rita) Modderman of Grand Rapids; sister Doris (Bert) Ohlendorf of Grand Haven, and several nieces and nephews. A Celebration Service of her going home to be with her Lord and Saviour will be held 11:00 am Thursday at the Throop Funeral Home in Coopersville. Rev Steve Bussis officiating.
