Marvin Earl Moon Sr.

Marvin Earl Moon Sr. aged 74, passed away with family at his side Monday, May 22, 2023. Marv was born in Grand Haven, MI to the late William and Mable (Greenland) Moon. He was a graduate of Coopersville High School and was employed with Spartan Stores in refrigeration maintenance. Marv enjoyed spending time with family and friends, stock car racing, and spending time in the outdoors. He is survived by his wife, Linda (Ream) Moon; son, Marvin Jr. (Tonia) Moon; stepsons, Robert Ream Jr and Melanie; Daniel (Chrissy) Ream and Robbie Dale (Molly) Ream; adopted daughter Gina (Jim) Fairbanks; grandchildren, Robert Ream III, Allissia Ream, McKenna Fairbanks and Jaxton Fairbanks; great granddaughter Emberlee Ream; sisters Colleen Haynor and Janet (Carl) Hartman; many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents Marv was also preceded in death by his brothers Don Moon, Earl Moon, Robert Moon and sister Betty Scott. In keeping with his wish cremation has taken place. Interment in Coopersville-Polkton Twp. Cemetery by his parents. Graveside interment service will take place 11:00 A.M. Friday, May 26, 2023 at the Coopersville-Polkton Twp. Cemetery with Rev. Cori Conran officiating. Following the graveside service, a luncheon will be held 11:30 A.M. Friday, May 26, 2023 at the Coopersville United Methodist Church, 105 68th Ave N, Coopersville, MI 49404.
