Mark Gaunt

Mark Edward Gaunt, age 55, of Coopersville was called home to his Lord and Savior Thursday January 29, 2015 with family at his side after a courageous battle with Cancer. Mark was born in Grand Rapids MI. He was a man who had a deep faith and love for the Lord and enjoyed sharing that with others. Mark loved to spend time with his family and friends, was an avid deer hunter and loved to be outside in Godé�a�a��s creation. He was preceded in death by his mother Patricia Gaunt and mother-in-law Vivian Peterson. He is survived by his wife of 34 years Becky (Peterson) Gaunt; son, Matthew and Hannah Gaunt; daughter, Amber and Kevin Elzinga; two grandchildren, Aydin and Abigail Gaunt; father, Frank Gaunt; brothers, Mike and Tamara Gaunt and Jeff and Lynn Gaunt; sister, Tami Gaunt; father-in-law Ed Peterson; sister-in-law Sharon and Bob Langeland; brothers-in-law, Gary and Ellie Peterson and Greg and Amy Peterson; many nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held Monday 11:00 am at Resurrection Life Church, Grandville, MI. Burial will take place in the Coopersville Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family Sunday 2 to 5 pm at the Throop Funeral Home in Coopersville.
