Marion Heath

Marion D Heath (Duane), aged 87, crossed over to glory Nov 18, 2015. He served his country in the Korean War serving eight years in the Marine Corp. He also served many years on the Board of Review and the City of Coopersville Council as well as being one of the first members of the E-unit when it was first started by Throop Funeral Home in the late 60é�a�a��s. He worked many years at Heath Manufacturing Company as a maintenance man. Duane could make, build, fix or drive anything. Always quick to help a friend, he enjoyed being outside and driving his tractors. He is predeceased by his parents Marion and Vesta (Kintigh) Heath, and brothers Donald and Dean. Duane is survived by his wife of 57 years Edith Heath; his daughter and son-in-law, Terri and Gary Acton and his two granddaughters of whom he was very proud Leslie (Michael) Ensing, and Erica Acton. Cremation has taken place, there will be no services, if you wish to donate in his memory please give to the Coopersville/Polkton Firemané�a�a��s club or a charity of your choice.
