Mrs Marilyn R. Mergener, aged 63, of Coopersville was called home to heaven Wednesday Nov 23, 2011. She was born Nov 4, 1948 in Grand Haven MI to Everett and Bertha DeKiep who preceded her in death. Marilyn retired in 2009 from Grand Haven Public Schools where she taught at Central and Mary A. White Elementary Schools for 37 é�½ years. She was also preceded in death by her brother-in-law Pete Boon and sister-in-law Denise Schrauben. Marilyn is survived by her husband of 31 years Randy; children, Heather (Todd) Sellon, Rebekka (Scott) Winters, and Ryan Mergener; three grandchildren, Jordan and Kaylyn Winters and Tala Sellon; sister, Nancy Boon; brother Ronald (Kathy) DeKiep; sister-in-laws Delores (Stan) Oracz, Dawn (Jonathan) Gingerich; brother-in-laws Richard (Tammy) Mergener, William Schrauben and many nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday 11:00 am at St Michaelé�a�a��s Catholic Church, 17151 88th Ave, Coopersville, Fr. Norm Droski, Celebrant. Interment in St Michaelé�a�a��s Cemetery. Relatives and Friends may meet the family Saturday 4 to 6pm, Sunday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm with the Rosary at 7pm at the Throop Funeral Home, 214 Church St, Coopersville.
