Marian Julien

Julien Mrs Marian Alberta (Haner) Julien, aged 84, of Ravenna slipped quietly into the arms of the Lord on Wednesday Dec 9, 2009. She is survived by her loving husband of 67 years Clare; her children, Sandra (George) Eisen of Walker, Pamela (Joseph) Karafa of Ravenna, and Clare Kevin (Esther) Julien of Livingston MT.; grandchildren, Joseph (Therese) Eisen, Kimberly (Robert) Glerum, Jeffery Eisen and fianc� Rene, J. Andrew (Thuy) Karafa, Kellee (Robert) Zylstra, Lindsey (Nate) Skalandis, Davin (Tammy) Nelson, Christopher Nelson, Jordan Julien, Cory Julien, and Jeff Julien; 13 Great Grandchildren; brothers Edward Haner, and Thomas (Carol) Haner; sister Sharon (Bert) Bloem; and many nieces and nephews. All her life Mom wanted to be a nurse so at the age of 46 she enrolled at Muskegon College, received her Licensed Practical Nursing Degree, and graduated 10th on the Deans List. She worked primarily with the elderly during her nursing career, and made sure that they received the respect and care they deserved. She loved to crochet, read, and tend to her beautiful gardens, and was a faithful member of Christ Temple. Funeral Services will be held Saturday 3:00 pm at Christ Temple Church, 5018 S. Ravenna Rd, Ravenna MI 49451. Visitation hours will be held one hour prior to the service at Church. In lieu of flowers please consider Christ Temple Church in Ravenna.
