Madeline Taylor

Madeline Marie “Mickey” Taylor, age 85, of Coopersville, flew on the wings of a monarch butterfly to her Lord and Saviour Wednesday evening August 1, 2018. She was reunited with her husband George “Bud” Taylor, son William “Bill” Taylor, sisters Emily VanDussen, Florence VanDussen, Margaret Searle, parents John and Mary (Bail) Frederick and her many relatives and friends who preceded her in death. Mickey will be deeply missed by her children, Tom Taylor and Bonnie Shields, George and Marree Taylor and Annie and Doug Reister; daughter-in-law, Karen Taylor; 10 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; brother Carl Frederick; sister-in-law, Lois Taylor; many nieces, nephews and dear friends. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 A.M. Monday, Aug. 6, 2018, at the Coopersville United Methodist Church, 105 68th Ave N, Coopersville, MI 49404 with Rev Cori Conran officiating. Burial will take place in Coopersville-Polkton Twp. Cemetery. Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. Sunday, Aug. 5, 2018, at the Throop Funeral Home in Coopersville and Monday one hour prior to the service at Church. Mickey had a deep faith in her Lord and Saviour and was a lifelong member of the Coopersville United Methodist Church as well as a lifetime member of V.F.W. Post 5598 Ladies Auxiliary. She was an outgoing woman full of life and enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She enjoyed playing cards, cribbage, bunco, traveling to the Upper Peninsula and spending time outdoors. The family wishes to extend a thank you to niece, Jennifer DeMull, special friend Heather Godleski and the staff of Fountain View Building 1 for the care and help they gave Mickey.
