Lynn Vanbokkem

Mrs Lynn VanBokkem, age 102, of Grand Rapids, was called to her heavenly home Thursday, Jan. 14, 2016. She was preceded in death by her husband of 64yrs, Martin Peter VanBokkem in 2000 and by her grandsons Christopher and Brad. Lynn and Martin were the former owners of Glenwood Christian Nursing Home in Lamont and Beacon Light Christian Nursing Home in Marne. Mrs VanBokkem is survived by her son, Tony (Pat) VanBokkem of FL., daughter, Chris (Joe) Conklin of Lowell; 6 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will take place 2:00 P.M. Monday, Jan. 18, 2016 at Walker United Reformed Church, 1941 Randall St N.W. Grand Rapids, MI 49534. with Rev Corey Dykstra officiating. Relatives and friends may meet the family Monday one hour prior to the service at Church. Interment at Rosedale Memorial Park.
