Louella Bing

Louella Mae Bing, age 93, of Coopersville, went home to be with her Lord and Saviour Thursday, February 9, 2023. She was born in Coopersville, MI to the late Alfred and Elizabeth (Brifnek) Spinner. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Arthur Bing, son Dennis Bing, brothers Al Spinner, George Spinner, Joe Spinner, sisters Betty Kutrz and Louise Spinner. Louella was very active with the Grand Valley Baptist Church, enjoyed talking with family and friends, going to the YMCA for swimming aerobics and traveling the world. She will be deeply missed by her daughter Cheryl (Michael) Turi; grandchildren, Justin DeYoung, Ashley (Patrick) Doepker/Fritze, Jessica (Jim) Waalkes, Derek Deopker; great grandchildren, Aria, Ella Waalkes, Sloane Fritze; sister, Marylou (Al) Terpstra; brother, John (Anita) Spinner; sister-in-law, Lola Steffen and many nieces and nephews, a special thank you to niece Gayle Venroy and family friend Bernadette Weaver for taking care of Louella these last few weeks. Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M. Friday, February 17, 2023 at Grand Valley Baptist Church, 3186 River Hill Dr O, Grand Rapids, MI 49534 with Pastor Dan Heistand officiating. Burial will take place in Rosedale Memorial Park. Relatives and friends may meet the family Thursday, February 16, 2023 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the Throop Funeral Home, 214 church St. Coopersville, MI 49404 and one hour prior to the service at church.
