Lorraine Schoenborn

Lorraine F. Schoenborn, age 93, of Conklin, passed away Tuesday, June 14, 2016. Lorraine was born in Conklin, MI. to the late Nicholas and Johanna (VanDyke) Arends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Aloys; daughter, Arlene; son, Stephen, granddaughter, DeAnne; siblings, Helen, Florence, Art and Gerard. Lorraine was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother and she will be deeply missed by her children and grandchildren. She is survived by 3 sons, Arthur (Michelle) Schoenborn, Bert (Betty) Schoenborn and Rich (Carla) Schoenborn; 3 daughters, Ruth (Jim) Tomaszewski, Rita Schiffer and Norma (Jeff) Luke; daughter-in-law, Roselie Schoenborn; 19 grandchildren; 41 great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Mildred Snowdin and several nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:30 AM Saturday at St Joseph Catholic Church, 18876 8th Ave, Conklin, MI 49403 with Fr Douglas Braun celebrant. Burial at St Joseph Cemetery. Visitation at the Throop Funeral Home in Coopersville, Friday 5 to 8 pm with the Rosary Prayer service at 8 pm and Saturday one hour prior to the service at Church. The family extends a thank you to the staff at Fountain View in Coopersville and Gentiva Hospice for the care they gave to Lorraine. Memorial donations may be made to Loris Voice P.O.
