Lois Spencer

Lois Ruth (Cheyne) Spencer, age 90, of Coopersville was called home to her Lord on Sunday evening, May 22, 2022, at her home. Lois was born in Jenison, MI., to the late Floyd and Doris (Lowing) Cheyne. She has lived in the Coopersville Area most of her life and was a longtime member of the Coopersville Bible Church. In addition to her parents Lois was preceded in death by her husband George H. Spencer on Sep. 29, 2013, her son George A. “Skip” Spencer on Nov. 4, 2016, granddaughter Jalyssa, grandson Randy, daughter-in-law Sheri Spencer, sister Lorraine Rider and sister-in-law Pam Cheyne. Lois is survived by her children, Dennis (Libby) Spencer, David (Cherry) Spencer, Gene Spencer and Sandy, Tonya Vagenas, and Jeff Spencer; daughter-in-law, Marie Spencer, many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; brother Floyd Cheyne; several nieces and nephews. In keeping with her wish cremation has taken place. A Life Celebration Memorial Service will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, June 11, 2022 at the Coopersville Bible Church, 35 Hillcrest St, Coopersville, MI. with Rev Dave Holton officiating. Interment will be in the Coopersville-Polkton Twp. Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family Saturday from 10 – 11 AM one hour prior to the service at Church.
