Linda Gayle (VanDonkelaar) Schoolcraft

Linda Gayle (VanDonkelaar) Schoolcraft, aged 74, of Coopersville, passed away Thursday, January 9, 2025. She was born in Muskegon, MI to the late Gary and Leona (Slager) VanDonkelaar. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother Dale VanDonkelaar and sister-in-law Cathi VanDonkelaar. Linda was a very devoted Christian; she volunteered as a Sunday School teacher for many years and was an avid prayer warrior. She enjoyed making cards for birthdays and holidays, loved nature, and had a passion for sewing. She will be deeply missed by her children Scott (Tami) Schoolcraft, Kristen Schoolcraft and Brian Rowe; grandchildren, Matt Metten, Dylan Schoolcraft, Owen Schoolcraft, Ashlyn Mowery, Faithe Mowery, Hayden Mowery; brother, Terry VanDonkelaar; sister-in-law, Jane VanDonkelaar and many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may meet the family Wednesday, January 15, 2025, from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the Throop Funeral Home, 214 Church St., Coopersville, MI 49404. Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M. Thursday, January 16, 2025, at the Coopersville Reformed Church, 423 W Randall St., Coopersville, MI 49404 with Rev. John Hines officiating. Burial will take place in the Coopersville-Polkton Twp. Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Coopersville Reformed Church, 423 W Randall St., Coopersville, MI 49404.
