Lillian Schippers

Lillian Mae Schippers, age 88, of Coopersville, was called home to her Lord and Saviour on Friday, June 20, 2014. Lillian was born in Grand Rapids to the late Leonard and Helen (Anderson) Schippers. She was a lifelong resident of Coopersville, graduate of Coopersville High School and member of Coopersville Reformed Church. Lillian attended and graduated from Butterworth School of Nursing and worked for 37 years at Spectrum Butterworth in the newborn nursery. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends and tending to her flower gardens. Lillian was preceded in death by her brother and sister-in-law Don and Pat Schippers. She is survived by her three nieces, Debra (Gary) Bowman, Susan (Daniel) Holman and Kimberly (Timothy) Sheets; many great nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Monday 1:00 pm at the Throop Funeral Home in Coopersville with visitation one hour prior to the service. Rev Greg Stamm officiating with burial at Eastmanville Cemetery.
