Courtade - Mr. Leo Courtade, age 76, of Conklin passed away at his home surrounded by his wife and family Sunday, June 20, 2010. Leo was a life long dairy farmer and owner of Long Lane Farms where he raised Ayrshire Dairy Cattle. He was an honorary life member of the K of C Council #4404 in Conklin and member of the Mich. Milk Producers Assn. Leo was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Elizabeth (Poelma) Courtade. Leo is survived by his wife of 39 years, Carol; son, Paul and Melissa Courtade; daughter, Katie Courtade; sister, Bernadine (Jack) Wiersma; brother, Ray (Sue) Courtade; brothers-in-law, Jim (Mary Ann) Heintz, Tom (Glenda) Heintz and Al (Philomena) Heintz; and many nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday 11:00 am at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Conklin. Burial St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Conklin.
