Lelah Emilie (Grossenbacher) Bouchard

Lelah Emilie Bouchard, age 87, of Coopersville, was called home to her Lord and Saviour Tuesday, June 25, 2024. She was born in Muskegon, MI to the late Arthur and Ava (Snider) Grossenbacher. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Arden Bouchard; Son, Aaron Bouchard; Daughter, Anita Brown and granddaughter Brandi Graftema. Lelah worked as a school teacher for Coopersville Public School, Nunica School and Spring Lake School for over 32 years. She also worked the family dairy farm. She was a local 4-H leader and enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by her children, Chris (Scott) Brown, Kurt (Margaret) Bouchard, Bobbi (Jim) Poley, Bryan (Dawn) Bouchard, Terrie (Randy) Graftema, Tammy (Mike) VanDuinen, Neal (Missy) Bouchard, Jocelyn (Jeff) Perrin, Kara (John) Schut, Kathleen (Joel) Benton; daughter-in-law Melissa Bouchard, son-in-law Bill Brown; 28 grandchildren; 34 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; brother, Dennis (Pat) Grossenbacher; sister, Gloria Lillibridge, Lona Richter, Lucy (Marty) Mulder and several nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00 A.M. Thursday, June 27, 2024 at St. Michaels Catholic Church, 17150 88th Ave, Coopersville, MI 49404 with Fr. Andrew Ayers celebrant. Burial will take place in St. Michaels Catholic Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family Wednesday, June 26, 2024 from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M. at St. Michaels Catholic Church and Thursday, June 27, 2024 10:00 to 11:00 A.M. at church. Rosary prayers will be prayed Wednesday, June 26, 2024 at 7:00 P.M. Memorial donations may be made to Faith Hospice, 2100 Raybrook SE Ste. 300, Grand Rapids, MI 49546, or Lori’s Voice, P.O.
